Hello class!! How are you?? I'm sure really ready to be on holiday, aren't you?? I hope you can enjoy a very good summer.  You'll tell me next Friday and we will know the winner of our Olympic Games.


Last class we recorded a very short video in which we explained something about our project Food is a Right, We also tried to explain that the money we collected in our Flea Market is going to be donate to Design For Change. So thank you.

Hello class! How are you? I hope fine and getting ready to finish school... Just one more week and you will be on holiday! It  sounds great, doesn't it?


Well, just some lines to say that last class you took the test of this 3rd term and it seems ok... I think you should have worked harder and you could have got better results... Well,  I will talk about this and more things next week, when you get your marks.

Hello class! How are you? I hope you're really fine, although I guess you're just waiting for your summer holidays!! It's a very short time, just 3 weeks! Even less for some of you.

Hello class, how are you? I hope at least a bit satisfied, Last class we could take part in the flipped class with other students, since it was the first time that you were more than two students... Anyway, you did a good job, although with a little help.


Last class we finished our story, do you remember? In these 4 weeks we have been listening to a Sherlock Holmes story; I think it worked very well. Now you've got the whole story so you can read whenever you want. For homework you HAVE TO WRITE a summary about the story. You should write around 90 words, ok?

Remember I told you about the 3rd term test. It'll be 12th June, so next week you'll take your folder in order to revise everything in case you need, although we will revise  here.

Hello class, how are you? I hope ok although you have some things to do. Anyway, here comes the weekend again for us to rest.



Last class we were working with FUTURE SIMPLE tofinish with the use of predictions; we said how things might be in 2050 and we mention the idea od the TIME CAPSULE. We explained what  it is and why people make them.

Remember that you have to write about this for homework.

Write a letter to put in your time capsule. Write about your life and explain why you chose the 5 items (select them first)

Hello class! How are you? I'm sure you're  a bit tired now that you have some subjects to study... but the course is coming to its end, so with an effort everything will be right.



There you have one of the uses of the future simple: PREDICTIONS. These days we're working with this verbal tenses, and little by little, learning all  its uses.


Last class we were talking about ROBOTS, among other things. As we said, they have always been considered some kind of myth in the future. We watched a documentary in which we could know some of the things that can be done with them now... in the present. Maybe one of these days we can also watch a movie of the ones we mentioned in class.

Don't forget your homework: you have to complete page 18 on the worksheet I gave you. We explained everything in class so,, please, don't make up stories once more, right?

Hello class! How are you? I hope you're fine after this break we have had last week... At least it was useful for some of you to complete your homework.


Last class we continued working with the FUTURE SIMPLE to talk about life in the future. We read some short text which imagined life in the future and then we talked about the main ideas depicted in that text. These are the main ones:

• solar energy and recycled water
• robots
• electric cars
• people living on the Moon and Mars
• climate control

Then you were practising somesome questions with the structure  WILL YOU ........ ?

The in the second part of the class I decided to treat you like adult people and we started listening a novel. First we introduced the author and the main character and then we listened to the first chapter. It was ok, Let's see next day.

Hello class, how is it going? I guess much better since last class you behaved properly, therefore we had time to present the new topic about FUTURE, with some reading, listening and speaking activities. As I have said many times if you behave right everything's right, isn't it?


Last class we started working with the future simple and so we introduced some time expressions to locate actions in the appropriate time:

• two years ago

• in three weeks

Hello class,

I'd prefer not to mention a word about your behaviour last class. I'm very angry again because except one or two people who are interested in learning, all the rest behaving this way Friday after Friday make the lesson difficult and even impossible.


Last class we revised adjectives and we focused on the -ING and -ED ending as in these examples:

• exiting - excited
• disappointing - disappointed
• boring - bored
• amazing - amazed

and some others.

Also we had a look to some celebrations through  listening activities as these ones:

Hello class! How are you after these days of holiday? I hope you have rested and you have had lots of fun; now it's time to work a bit hard to get good results in the last term, ok? Are you ready?


Last class we continued with the topic about Festivals and celebrations around the world, and although this topic is easy and funny you didn't seem to enjoy, as always. I hope from now on you try to pay more attention during the class, otherwise is useless that only some of us are making efforts do make things right. I'm a bit disappointed, as I told you.

We were reading about different celebrations around the world and answering some questions related to the information we got from the text. Very interesting,don't you think?

Friday 20th March

Hello class! How are you? I hope you're fine, now that you're finishing school days and holidays are very very near... In just a  week we can rest for some days and will come with lots of energy.

Last class you took a test just for me to know how well you did these months. Next day you will know your results with your marks (second term marks)

Also you learnt about St Patrick's Day. We watched a video about the story of this celebration and we learnt words like these:

Hello class! How are you? I hope you're fine now that you can rest a bit while you wait for some holiday. These last weeks have been a bit hard because of your exams, but it's ok you have completed two terms.


Last class we continued talking about celebrations. It was very interesting, we focused  on a British celebration, very well-known, although it was new for you, we talked about the night of Guy Fawkes, 5th November. The reading and listening activities were very good, at least.


Also we introduced present perfect, here you have some little notes for you to revise, especially if you have any question when doing your homework.

Hello class! How are you? I hope you're fine now that it's weekend, although you have have to study these days for your school exams. I wish you lots of luck and very good results!

Last class you behaved a bit better that some weeks ago. I hope this can be the way; you do your homework, you pay attention and you behave properly. We started a new lesson, CELEBRATION, and we are going to work with present perfect. This verbal tense is very easy, however you can find some problems if you get lost since the beginning. Next day we will introduce this tense so I hope you can pay attention and ask everything that is not clear, ok? Because if you don't understand you'll do worse and worse. So please,try to cooperate.

Anyway, we were talking about celebrations around the world and your speking and listening activities were good. The quiz could have been better but whenever you work in pairs you are doing your best... I wonder why.

This week we have finished this topic about sports and Olympic Games. We saw a short video  based on "A day in the life of a sportperson" It was really interesting and we knew a lot of things related to his training and his daily routine in general. I hope you  enjoyed.

I wonder why sometimes you show no interest in class. I hope it changes because then you ask for a game and songs and videos... and it's not fair, don't you think?

Friday 13th February

Hello class! How are you? Last day we were very few in the classroom... only two students attended to class, and I asked you to tell me if that was the case. Please, next time, write a note saying you are not coming, ok?

Anyway, the class  was funny. We went to the first topic this week: CARNIVAL .We knew about the origin and typical customs and read about Mardi Gras, Carnival in New Orleans; finally you told me about your plans for carnival this weekend. I hope you have lots of fun.

The second part of the class we mixed up with other students as we did for Halloween; this time we took advantage of next Saturday celebration: VALENTINE'S Day. Hi class! How's it going? I hope you're fine enjoying this time of relax... I guess you haven't done your homework yet... anyway I hope you bring with you next class. I wonder why so few are doing your homework normally... And I also wonder why sometimes you behave so badly...

Well, last class we started a new lesson related to sport and Olympic Games. We learnt things about the origin through a documentary and you could answer  some questions  about the ancient and modern Olympics. Next day we will continue learning about this a bit more.

And please, remember to do your homework. You just have to choose a sport, look for some information (origin, rules, equipment...) and present your topic. Please, do it.

Also we will have time to talk about Mardi Gras or Carnival taking advantage of this celebration. We will know about the origin and the different traditions in different places, ok? I hope you enjoy.
