Friday 20th March

Hello class! How are you? I hope you're fine, now that you're finishing school days and holidays are very very near... In just a  week we can rest for some days and will come with lots of energy.

Last class you took a test just for me to know how well you did these months. Next day you will know your results with your marks (second term marks)

Also you learnt about St Patrick's Day. We watched a video about the story of this celebration and we learnt words like these:

• Ireland
• Leprechaun
• Pot of gold
• Rainbow
• Shamrock
• Harp

We were listening to some songs too. Here you have one of them

By the end of the class we were talking about this for a while and we made some wordsearch and crosswordsand so on. I hope you enjoyed.

Please,have a look to the handout I gave you about our FLEA MARKET next week. You can bring all the things you don't need or you don't want to use anymore. I hope you and your families have a good time.

And remember to bring some  food to collect, as we have asked! (1kilo of help, remember our project!)

Friday13th March

Hello class! How are you? I hope you're fine now that you can rest a bit while you wait for some holiday. These last weeks have been a bit hard because of your exams, but it's ok you have completed two terms.


Last class we continued talking about celebrations. It was very interesting, we focused  on a British celebration, very well-known, although it was new for you, we talked about the night of Guy Fawkes, 5th November. The reading and listening activities were very good, at least.


Also we introduced present perfect, here you have some little notes for you to revise, especially if you have any question when doing your homework.

Don't forget to complete the activities on the worksheet I gave you, only the actvities on pages 45 and 47, ok? Please, read before the notes included in order to solve whatever doubt.


In the second part of the class we continued with our project FOOD IS A RIGHT, creating some posters in order to be successful when collecting food. I hope you enjoyed this craft as me! I'll try to show you all the pictures I took as soon as possible.

Friday 6th March

Hello class! How are you? I hope you're fine now that it's weekend, although you have have to study these days for your school exams. I wish you lots of luck and very good results!

Last class you behaved a bit better that some weeks ago. I hope this can be the way; you do your homework, you pay attention and you behave properly. We started a new lesson, CELEBRATION, and we are going to work with present perfect. This verbal tense is very easy, however you can find some problems if you get lost since the beginning. Next day we will introduce this tense so I hope you can pay attention and ask everything that is not clear, ok? Because if you don't understand you'll do worse and worse. So please,try to cooperate.

Anyway, we were talking about celebrations around the world and your speking and listening activities were good. The quiz could have been better but whenever you work in pairs you are doing your best... I wonder why.

Then we were practising reading. That's the text you have to translate for homework, so I hope you bring next day because I helped you a lot!
