Hello class!! How are you? Ready for Christmas?? I'm sure you are after these months working so hard!! I hope you spend a really good time with family and friends and enjoy these special celebrations.

Last class we had a good time; we listened to some songs, we took some photographs and we played some games.

Then you received your marks and we knew who was the winner of our Olimpic Games: This tern the winner is Zaida... Let's see the second therm if there's an interesting battle for points

Friday 12th December

Hello class, how are you? I hope you're ok, sure you're looking forward to having a holiday, aren't you? Well, me too.

Anyway, I'd like you to know that last class was better than the previous one; obviously you behaved a bit better too. As you can see, when your beaviour is nice, the class is nice.

Other thing, your project... I hope it works since you didn't share any kind of information withthe class... please, try to do these things as a team for the next project, ok? And the same with your homework... just one student brought the biography of an inventor; it was not so difficult, you just had to tell the class some information prepared at home, so, please, make an effort in the second term.

Last Friday we completed the worksheet we started the previous week; we have to find things that are famous for something... good job... only the girls!!

Then we worked with reading comprehension activities and pronunciation. This was ok. And then we watched a couple of videos Christmas related. Here you have one of them:

Friday 5th December

Hello. First of all I want you to know that I'm really fed up with your behaviour again. Except two (or sometimes 3) people in the class who behave right, the other 3 studets' behaviour is absolutely horrible. I don't understand how you can be this way. Fortunately this time you started behving better after our break

Last class we didn't check your project because you didn't do any job. Let's see next week, because it will be the last to bring the project to the classroom.

We worked with the topic of inventions and we focused on those invented by women. We introduced the passive although we will work harder with this. We used the structure

THE DISHWASHER WAS INVENTED BY AN AMERICAN WOMAN

and worked with different examples, especially through listening and reading activities.

More examples were:

• Mrs Graham's invention is called Tipp-Ex today
• Disposable nappies were invented by Marion Donovan
• Policemen all over the world are protected by the bullet-proof vest

And so on.

In order to check that you have understood the topic I want you to write a biography of an inventor of the 20th Century; it doesn't matter the invention, I just want you to write about an inventor you find interesting, ok? And of course, finish your project.

Hello classs!! How are you? Well, I hope you're fine after learning so many things about Thanksgiving We watched a very ineresting video which helped us to understand this American tradition; maybe in some years we also celebrate Thanksgiving, what do you think?

Here you have some voc we learnt:

Last class we first checked your pojects; well, we will continue a bit more until we have a kind of newspaper full of news, photographs and stories, it will be really nice, I thinnk

Friday 21st November

Hi class, how's it going? I guess you're still a bit "upset" because of the test of irrregular verbs. I told you last week to study as you were going to take a test, so I can't understand how you can be so "lazy". Anyway, I hope this can be useful and you can learn the lesson. Please, revise the verbs. We started working with the simple past 3 weeks ago. We have practised in class week after week... and you're still thinking everything's right! You will have another chance to prove you're learning the past simple, ok?

After that we continued working with voc related to transport. The same: please, if there's something you don't understand ask in class, right? That's the only way to mak things going well. We are learning new things class after class and there's no improvement. Please, do your part and things will go better.

Then we started with out project. We're going to create a newspaper colaborating all of us. We have to decide some more details and you will have to prepare the articles looking for some information. We will chack and imrove in class but you have to start bringing your ideas and drafts and so on, ok?Please, I trust you. Do your best. It's homework.

Friday 14 th November

Hi class! How's it going? I hope ok. At least last class was not so horrible as the previous... Please, from now on try to pay more attention when doing your homework, I mean, if I say answer 4 questions, please, do answer 4 questions, not just two, ok?

Anyway, last class we practised listening activities, still you need lots of times to understand, although I guess it's more a question of will. You should try to do things better. When practising speaking activities, you need to improve too. You don't care about your pronunciation., well, just one or two of you. Please,once more I ask you to try again and again. in order to get a good pronunciation.

As I told you, last class you behaved a bit better, so I allowed you to play a board game to practise voc. Let's see if you have the chance next week, ok?

Don't forget to take your homework next day. You have to read the text I gave you and answer the 4 questions, not just one or two, ok? And to practise voc you will translate 7 lines, you will write on your notebook and you'll show me. Is it clear? Well, that's what I hope.

Hello class.

First of all, I want you to know that last class I got really angry with you. Not only you didn't pay attention at all but also you didn't work. And what's more: you behave horribly. So let's see if you're able to behave like teenagers and not like babies, because I think you come to learn and not to waste your time.

Last day we tried to introduce the topic about transport. This is connected with the past simple, so, please, this is the third week I ask you to revise both regular and irregular verbs in order to continue. One of these days you will have a test.

We had some listening activities and you didn't succeed, of course. For this reason you have this text for homework. The text goes with the past simpe, so the idea is to practise (at last) Please, read and answer the questions.

Hello class! How are you? Getting ready for a Halloween party? Well, I hope so. Last class we worked with lots of Halloween related words and stuff like that; songs, videos, and we had an interesing chat about your trick or treating plans. I hope you tell meabout that next week.

First we checked your homework, it took us very few minutes because there were only two students in class; anyway... you have to work more and more with the past simple tense.. We will.

After that we  completed some other activities past simple based but, as I say, you have to study.

The second part of the class was used to mix classes. You were supposed to prepare some crafts or activities for younger students... Well, this time it didn't work, so I hope next time things go better.

Hello class! How are you? Ready to enjoy the weekend? I'm sure you are. Try also to take some time to do your homework and review the past simple...

Last class we were working with the past simple of both regular and irregular verbs. We practised with some speaking and listening activities and finally we completed a funny wordsearch. We will do more because this must be clear. We introduced negative and interrogative statements, too.

Remember that next day we will join other students to have fun with Halloween related activities and crafts. Try to prepare something for them as we said in class: wordsearch, pictures, colouring pages, stories... whatever you like.

Remember also to bring your homework. You have to complete the worksheet I gave you and then in class you will present your work, ok? Please do your best, it's points for you.

Hi class! How are you? I hope you're ok despite your awful preformance... I'm joking (well, just a bit) Last class you were supposed to work a bit better with your HW. Your speaking was not very good and that makes me think that you weren't paying attention when I explained. I hope next time this activity sounds better.

Also you were supposed to do a better job with the past simple of regular verbs. Well, I think we don't have to worry by the moment. Anyway you have to work harder than you do. Last class we started working with the PAST SIMPLE TENSE. We will revise it much more, but in order to prove that you got the idea... please, bring your HW next Friday, ok?

The listening activities are better and better, but still we have a lot to do. And again, try to keep English during the whole class. Last class we were practising speaking activities saying some examples and trying to understand the use of the past simple.

Friday 10th October

Hi class!! How are you? I guess you're ok, now that's weekend. Please, now that you probably have a little time try to write a comment, as I told you in class. Here in the blog, just a sentence telling something you do with your friends, right?

Last class you did a better job with your speaking practice than weeks before. At least you looked more interested than weeks ago and that makes me happy. Some of you are making an effort week after week and that's always a good thing. Thanks.

In our last class we were working with the topic of friendship. You did a good job when asking and answering questions, in fact we had a lot of speaking and fun. Then we continued discussing a different questionnaire and had some listening activities too. What I liked the most was your interest in using English.

By the end of the class you played  "Say 4 Things" game. Next day (if you behave so well as today) we can play  again, or try a different game. We will see, ok?

REMEMBER you have homework. This week you have to prepare a speaking activity creating a mindmap with the points I showed you in class. Here you have:

TITLE: MY BEST FRIEND

• My best friend (short description; use the adjectives we practised at the beginning of the class)

Friday 3rd October

Hello class!! How are you? I hope ok and trying to do a better job with your homework than you did last Friday. I gave the instructions and we explained in class. This is just to finish with countries and nationalities.

In the first part of the class we were talking about countries saying typical and representative things about the ones you said. Well, remember that you have to do something similar for homework, but clean and well presented!

We practised a lot of listening activities; it was a bit hard at the beginning but then you started doing better, you'll see that the more we do the better your results will be.

The second part of the class was used to introduce our daily activities and routines and we revised the time. We worked with a clock pointing different ways to say the same hour. We completed this part with more listening activities.

Finally, as you behaved better than last Friday, we played a game. It was something like "Who am I?", we had fun and laughed a lot.

Hello class! Welcome to our 2014-2015 course. Here we are after a long, long summer holiday. I hope you have enjoyed this time but now we must be ready to work.

In our first class we introduced ourselves and have a chat about our holidays. You practiced some questions and answered the ones of your classmates. We need to practice a bit more but it was ok. Then we were talking about our best friend and shared opinions.

The second part of the class was used to practice some listening activities, you did well but we'll do a lot. What we need is to become familiar with the sounds that are different from the ones in our language. Next day we will continue.
